Meet Joe Mac

It started in 1998. A few teenage girls told me that I looked like Joey McIntyre. He had disappeared from my radar since the New Kids disbanded and I was unable to see an physical similarilities given my vague memories of him. As his solo and musical theater career began, Joey (now Joe) was in the media once again. And while we bore no resemblance to one another during adolescence, I had to confess that we look alike now. The proof is in the pictures.

This poster was all over New York City. When I saw it the first time, I did a double-take.

It's the winter and the dry air makes my hair less "poofy" and less curly. In warmer days, I would be nestled up against my spitting image. Freaky, huh?

A rather unflattering picture of me. (I'm on the left, having waited in the cold for some time.) I have these crazy eyes and a huge, wacked-out nose in this photo. Oh well. While the resemblance is less pronounced, it's still there.
